FAQs from Native Sun

Cannabis Dispensary located in MA

Most Popular

Native Sun has three recreational dispensaries open in Massachusetts: Hudson, North Attleboro, and South Boston.

Native Sun Braintree, our first medical dispensary, is coming soon!

Native Sun Hudson, North Attleboro, and South Boston are currently recreational (also known as “adult use”) dispensaries. Anyone over 21+ years old with a valid ID can purchase cannabis from a Native Sun. Native Sun hopes to welcome medical cannabis patients into our stores soon.

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is just one of many cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, etc.) found in the cannabis plant. THC is most widely known for being the primary cannabinoid in marijuana products that produces a psychoactive effect. In other words, THC is the cannabinoid that gets you high.

About Our Dispensaries

Our Hudson, North Attleboro, and South Boston dispensaries are recreational (also known as “adult use”) dispensaries, meaning that anyone 21 years or older can visit our dispensary with a valid, government-issued ID.

At this time, all Native Sun dispensary locations are recreational (AKA “adult use”), not medical. However, anyone over 21 years of age is welcome to visit our dispensary and make a purchase, regardless of their medical marijuana patient status.

Native Sun Braintree, coming soon, will be a medical dispensary.

Yes! As long as you have a valid government issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) you can visit our Hudson, South Boston, or North Attleboro dispensary and make a purchase.

Products And Consumption

There are so many reasons to consider using cannabis: pain relief, nausea relief, appetite stimulation or suppression, stress and anxiety relief, anti-inflammation, focus, and more. Not to mention the host of serious medical conditions and illnesses cannabis is used to treat and aid in recovery/side-effect management.

Outside of the health and wellness benefits, cannabis helps people relax. There doesn’t have to be a medical reason present for you to enjoy consuming cannabis! Whether you’re just looking for a way to unwind, a good night’s sleep, or a fun time with friends, cannabis can help!

Bud, nugs, grass, weed, herb – it goes by many names, but it’s all the same thing: cannabis flower. Learn more about what it is, how to consume it, and why you should try it here.

Concentrates are pretty much exactly what they sound like: a cannabis product processed into a concentrated, super potent form like budder, wax, sugar, resin, shatter, oil, etc. Learn more about the different types of concentrates, dabbing, and when to try them here.

Vape cartridges (AKA carts, vapes, oil cartridges, weed pens, etc.) “vape pens” are glass cartridges filled with different types of cannabis oil or concentrate. Learn more about what’s inside them, how they work, and why we love them here.

Edibles are cannabis-infused foods and drinks, like gummies, chocolates, seltzers, baked goods, and more. Learn more about different types of edibles (like fast acting) and our tips for consuming them here.

Topicals include any type of lotion, balm, salve, oil, serum, etc. infused with cannabis and applied to the skin for localized pain relief, soreness, and inflammation. Learn more about how they work (FYI – they won’t get you high) and their benefits here.

Tinctures are a solvent-based liquid cannabis extract that usually comes in a glass dropper. Learn more about their medicinal history, how to use them, and why we love them here.

CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are both cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. There are other cannabinoids, too (CBN, CBG, etc.) but THC and CBD are the most well-known and widely used. THC is an “intoxicating” cannabinoid, so it produces psychoactive effects (it gets you high). CBD is still relaxing, but non-psychoactive so you won’t feel a high when consuming.

Some CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC. And some THC products contain different amounts of CBD for different purposes. “1:1” products usually refer to cannabis products that contain equal amounts of THC to CBD.
